Mavericks Wellness is owned and operated by Miranda Robson Calkins. Since she was young, Miranda has been interested in wellness and particularly drawn to nutrition and how it can affect our health, mental health, and how we heal. This interest heighted when her father was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. After many years of doing her own research, she decided to enroll in the Holistic Nutrition Program with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, graduating as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in March of 2021.

When learning about the different body systems, she was drawn to the lymphatic system and its role in health at a cellular level. After learning more about the lymphatic system and its purpose, she started applying numerous lymphatic self-care practises such as: deep breathing, dry brushing, rebounding, and self-massage. Miranda then started exploring manual machines focussing on the lymphatic system. This is where she discovered the Ballancer®Pro. Miranda purchased her machine in March 2020, and has been amazed by the benefits it has provided for her and her family. These benefits have included: calming of the nervous system, better digestion, helping with fluid retention, clearer skin, faster recovery from exercise, and overall feeling well. After close to two years of benefitting from the Ballancer®Pro, she decided that she wanted to help others feel the same by offering treatments - and thus Mavericks Wellness was founded.
